Paul Stubbs is hoping to lay an "EGG" which will yield all kinds of data about a stellar explosion in a very predicable binary star system. However the Yosemite of stellar events only comes once every 170 some odd years and just when we think nothing could go wrong, an experiment young Wesley is running goes awry and a new and interesting kind of life is born, inadvertently posing a risk to the experiment and the entire crew's safety. Find out what we think of this season opener and welcome our newest Starfleet Boy crew member, Starfleet Mann (a.k.a. Manndroid).
